This virtual event will provide an update on school discipline bills that are moving through Texas' 89th legislative session. We will discuss the harms of zero tolerance regarding school discipline and reaffirm the need to preserve a current state law, which bans out of school suspensions for preK - 2nd grade students.
The webinar will include a policy briefing, a personal story from one of our Education Justice Youth Fellows, and a call to action for the public to directly contact their representatives.
